Kogi to rename school after army general who died of COVID-19

The Kogi state government has announced that it will be renaming the Government Science Secondary School in Okedayo after John Olu Irefin, the major-general and general officer commanding (GOC) six division, Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, who died today from COVID-19 complications.

 

This was revealed in a statement released by the Kingsley Fanwo, the commissioner for information and communications.
