Eid-el-Fitr: President Buhari and Wife, Aisha make first public appearance in months
President Muhammadu Buhari and members of his immediate family have on Thursday observed Eid el-Fitr prayer at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
However, this is the first time in months the President stepped out together with his wife, Mrs Aisha Buhari after the widespread rumour that the first lady had since relocated to Dubai momemts after a fall out with some state house personnel’s.
In a series of photos shared via President Buhari’s social media handles, the President and the First Lady were seen flanked by their children and their spouses.
In separate photos, the President was also seen with little children, possible his grandchildren or relatives
Buhari, in a string of tweets, congratulated all Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid festival and prayed that it will bring with it peace, safety, security, brotherhood and love amongst others.

Also in attendance were the Senate President Ahmad Lawan, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser (NSA), retired Major-General Babagana Monguno, Chief of Staff to the president, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, and other presidential aides.
