UK Disclose Plan To Resume Visa Application In Nigeria Soon

In other to curb the pandemic in the country , the Nigerian Government In March, had stopped international flights as one of the measures taken to stop COVID-19 outbreak.

This week, the resumption of domestic flights has risen hope for many Nigerians still willing to travel out of the country as they are hopeful that the Federal Government will lift the ban on international flights soon.

According to a statement issued by the British High Commission on Thursday, The Commission has said it will soon restart visa applications from Nigerians ready to travel to the United Kingdom.

it explained that it would restart the process once it is “safe to do so.”

The British High Commission added that there are many Nigerians eager to visit the UK once the country (Nigeria) okays international flights.

In a statement issued by the Commission; “We know there are many Nigerian nationals hoping to travel to the UK when flights resume, both for employment and to see family members, UKVI are working closely with TSL contact, our commercial partner, to reopen visa application centres that were suspended due to COVID-19.”

The Commission also disclosed that the UK visa application centres are reopening in a phased manner globally.
