Ossai Success Ovie, an aide to the Delta state governor, expressed disappointment over the guest list at popular Abuja-based pastor, Jerry Eze’s 42nd birthday celebration.

In a Facebook post on October 7, Ovie questioned the cleric’s decision to invite businessmen E-Money and Obi Cubana, citing their lifestyles as inconsistent with Christian values.

Ovie argued that Bishop David Oyedepo, a prominent Nigerian pastor, wouldn’t have invited them to his birthday, implying that Pastor Jerry Eze’s association with them undermines his faith.

He referenced 2 Corinthians 6:14, stating, “Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers…,” emphasizing the importance of separating righteousness from lawlessness.

Ovie expressed disappointment that Pastor Jerry Eze didn’t use the birthday celebration as an opportunity to encourage E-Money and Obi Cubana to commit to Jesus Christ.
