Anambra State has recorded its first Covid19 casualty since the outbreak of the virus in the state. 3 Covid19 patients were also discharged as stated by the Governor, Willie Obiano on Tuesday, May 26th.
According to him, the deceased was a 66-year old with no previous health history, he resorted to self care until he was tested but died before the result was out.
The Governor said, three patients including the index case were successfully treated and discharged after testing negative twice to Covid19.
He set new guidelines for containment measures against the spread of Covid19 in the state.
