Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has dumped the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
This was disclosed by the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Malla Buni, after the duo met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Dogara declined to speak after the meeting, but Buni confirmed that the former Speaker “is now a member of APC.”
He was led to the president’s office by the Chairman of APC Caretaker/National Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, who apprised Buhari of the latest development in the ruling party.
