Breaking: Lagos State Recalls Ban On Religious Gathering.
The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has rescinded on his previous order for the reopening of churches and mosques on in the state effective from June 19.
The governor made the announcement on Tuesday, June 16th at a televised press briefing earlier today.
With the ongoing ease of the nationwide lockdown and relaxation of the ban on religious gatherings by the FG, the Lagos State Governor had on Thursday, June 4 asked mosques to reopen from June 19, adding that churches can begin services from June 21.
Lagos State remains the epicenter of the deadly virus in the country with a total of 7,319 of the recently confirmed 16,658 cases in Nigeria.
