The embattled Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress earlier today.
This is following the unanimous disqualification of the incumbent Governor from contesting under the platform of the APC in the forthcoming primaries of the gubernatorial elections in the state over alleged discrepancies in his school certificates.
Ongoing speculations depicts that the Governor is expected to announce his entry into the opposition PDP in no distant time from now.
