The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday said Nigeria has recorded 131 new cases of COVID-19 and 2 additional death linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 56,735 infections in the country. 44,092 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1093 death cases were recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
