The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday said Nigeria has recorded 221 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional death linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 56,956 infections in the country. 44,305 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1094 death cases were recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
