The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday said Nigeria has recorded 571 new cases of COVID-19 and an additional 16 deaths linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 32,558 infections in the country. 13,447 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 740 death cases have been recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
