The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday said Nigeria has recorded 79 new cases of COVID-19 and 4 additional death linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 56,256 infections in the country. 44,152 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1082 death cases were recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
