Breaking: Two Police Officers Fired For Use Of Excessive Force On Protesters.
Two police officers have been fired in Atlanta for using excessive force on two college students amid protests.
This is coming as series of protest spreads across the US over the death of George Floyd who was strangled to death by a Minneapolis officer.
The Atlanta Chief of Police said it was shocking to see the Police Officers manhandle the young students in their car during the unrest stressing that it was a clear use of excessive force.
The officers involved claimed that they suspected the students of carrying arms with them hence the reason for their action.
The Mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms have condemned the actions of the police officers and described the video showing the incident as very disturbing and cannot be overlooked.
