Amidst the ravaging Covid19 pandemic, the construction of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) Secretariat Building was flagged off today. The proposed building is located in Maitama area of FCT, opposite the West African Examination Headquarters.
The construction of the state-of-art NMA secretariat has been contracted to Dutum Company Ltd. A renowned indigenous construction company with significant footprint in Nigeria.
This new NMA Building project has undoubtedly indicated a new era of improved health care system in Nigeria which was necessitated by the sudden global health crisis.
In his opening remarks, the National President of the NMA Francis Faduliye commended members of the association and other stake holders for their efforts and tremendous contribution to the success of the ground breaking ceremony citing that the process was quite a bumpy one.
The association’s President also commended Dutum Company Limited, for having the technical know-how and financial wherewithal to execute the project.
Speaking on behalf of the construction company, its Managing Director, Mr. Tope Runsewe, thanked the leadership of NMA for the confidence reposed in them, assuring that they will deploy all professionalism at the company’s disposal to ensure that the building is completed in due course according to expectations.
