At the Presidential Task Force daily briefing on Covid19, the Minister of State for Education, Mr. Emeka Nwajiuba stated that there is no official date yet for resumption of schools in the country.
This is coming after the rumour making the rounds that the government will reopen schools in several weeks following the ease of the lockdown.
The government also said the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) had not cancelled its external exams as students would still take those exams when normalcy has been restored.
