The World Health Organisation had recently suspended trial of hydroxychloroquine for the treatment of Coronavirus citing health risk that could possibly lead to death.
However, some medical reports has it that chloroquine is undoubtedly an effective drug for treatment of the novel coronavirus despite its attendant health risks.
The US President, Donald Trump as well as a few other countries has promoted the anti-malaria drug having confirmed its efficiency in combating the deadly virus.
India has also taken notice of chloroquine and approved it for treatment of Covid19 saying it has been very effective.
