In the recent social media uproar on the “Naira Marley Drive In Concert” concerning Nigerian music artist, Naira Marley and popular BBNaija Ex-Housmate, Kim Oprah.
The chairman of Executive Jet, Sam Iwuajoku, has apologised and made a public denial for flying the Nigerian music artist and BBNaija Ex-housemate despite the Covid-19 flight restrictions placed by the Nigerian government.
Sam Iwuajoku said he thought the aircraft was conveying the minister of works, Babatunde Raji-Fashola (SAN) who shares a similar surname with the Nigerian music artist.
In a written apology to the minister of aviation, the executive chairman wrote that he had no idea the aircraft was conveying a bunch of “useless people”.
Explaining himself further, Iwuajoku said when he went through the flight manifest on Saturday, June 13, he saw the name Babatunde Fashola and assumed that the flight was to convey the minister of works. According to him, he had no idea that the aircraft was conveying the entertainers.
Sam Iwuajoku made it clear that the company is sorry for the mistake and promised it will not happen again.
