The Secretary General of the federation and the Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Covid19, Boss Mustapha at the PTF briefing to the Nation on Friday May 16th said that 5 states in Nigeria are currently working with the World Health Organisation (WHO) to develop a vaccine for coronavirus.
He stated that 50 percent of the confirmed cases in Nigeria are from 9 regions which are densely populated.
Going further with the updates Boss Mustapha stressed that the PTF does not have control over how Covid19 funds are spent.
He reported that as at May 4th the Federal Government had received N792m donations to fight Covid19. He further thanked all the donators for their kind gestures.
