The Imo State Government has announced the recovery and subsequent discharge of three Covid19 patients from its isolation centre after having tested negative twice according to NCDC regulations.
Speaking to newsmen at the State House in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, the Executive Governor of the State, Hope Uzodinma stated that out of the six cases undergoing treatment in the Isolation Centre in Imo State, two were discharged at the weekend while the index case was discharged earlier, bringing the total to three (3).
The governor added that the number of cases currently under treatment in Imo State as at today is only four and that there are no newly confirmed cases of Covid19 infections in the state.
