Since the outbreak of Covid19 in Nigeria, South-eastern Imo State has only recorded 7 positive cases, 3 of which were successfully discharged after recovery and the other 4 were travellers from Lagos who later returned to their previous location making the state 100% free from Coronavirus.
The Government of Imo State has given the inhabitants of the state two weeks ultimatum to evacuate and bury their any corpse or dead bodies affiliated to them in order to de-congest mortuaries as a containment and preventive measure to the possible spread of Covid19 in the state.
