The Chief of Defence Staff Nigeria, Gen. Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin has announced that the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has pledged commitment in combating the escalating menace of terrorism in Nigeria.
He disclosed this via his Twitter platform on Thursday, July 30 after the High Commissioner of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Maj Gen Waqar Ahmad Kingravi (rtd), visited him.
He tweeted,
“I was delighted to receive the High Commissioner, Islamic Republic of Pakistan; Maj Gen Waqar Ahmad Kingravi (rtd) in my office. He reassured the Armed Forces of Nigeria of his country’s commitment in combating the menace of terrorism in Nigeria.”
