The Kano State Government has quarantined over 2000 Almajirai as a measure to check the spread of Covid19 in the state.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje while speaking to newsmen lamented that Almajirai have become a breeding ground for Covid19 in the state and assured that the State Government will do everything in its capacity to curb the spread of the virus in the state.
Kano State is the second worst hit of the deadly virus in Nigeria with a total number of 753 confirmed cases of Covid19, 87 people have been discharged and 33 deaths have been recorded in the state so far.
