The news of the death of former Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi has been debunked by his family members and also his media aide, Bolaji Tunji, who said Senator Abiola Ajimobi is still alive.
His daughter, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, tweeted, “Thank you for all the messages but our father is still alive, alhamdulillah. When it is our time we will all die so wait first,”
His aide, Bolaji Tunji said “I spoke with those around him not long ago and they confirmed to me that he is still alive. Please disregard news of his death as fake news.”
He also posted on Facebook saying, “Kindly disregard all the rumours, just rumours. In all, we remain prayerful,”
However, report says Sen. Ajimobi has been on life support at a hospital in Lagos for over a week and remains in a critical condition due to covid19 complications.
