Former Nigerian international Victor Moses has officially joined Luton Town, a Sky Bet Championship club, on a free transfer. Moses was previously with Spartak Moscow, but his contract expired at the end of last season.
In an interview with the club’s website, Moses expressed his excitement about the move, saying, “I’m looking forward to it… I had a few offers from Europe, but I wanted to stay in England, and here we are. I’m pleased and honored to be at this club, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Moses, who has experience playing in the Premier League, stated his ambition to help Luton Town achieve promotion. “I want to enjoy my football, work hard for the club and team, and get back to where we belong in the Premier League.”
Luton Town manager Rob Edwards welcomed Moses to the team, saying, “Victor is someone we’ve been talking to for a while. He trained with us last week and played in a behind-closed-doors game, and we decided to sign him because we think he can help us. He adds strength and versatility to our squad, as he can play on both sides or as a number ten.”
