The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday said Nigeria has recorded 296 new cases of COVID-19 and 6 additional death linked to the virus.
This resulted to a total number of 55,456 infections in the country. 43,334 persons have been successfully treated and discharged, while 1067 death cases were recorded to the virus, according to the NCDC.
