Controversial lifestyle influencer, Bobrisky, has stirred the pot once again, attributing his recent woes to the award he received at Eniola Ajao’s movie premiere.
Bobrisky, who clinched the *Best Dressed Female* title along with a ₦1 million cash prize, claimed the recognition marked the start of his problems. Shortly after the event, the socialite faced legal troubles, including an arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged naira note abuse. These allegations snowballed with leaked audio accusing him of bribery to avoid money laundering charges and securing a luxury apartment instead of jail time—claims he has strongly denied.
In a reflective Instagram post shared from outside Nigeria, Bobrisky opened up about the ordeal, pinpointing the award as a turning point in his life.
“My problems started when I won *Best Dressed Female* and took the ₦1 million prize. From now on, if I see any award for *Best Dressed Female,* I will disappear from the location immediately. Everyone knows I’m a baddie with class. Compete with me? Your mummy never! But when problems get too much, I have to run,” he wrote.
The influencer’s remarks have sparked fresh debates online, with fans and critics weighing in on the connection between the award and his legal challenges.
