Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has openly challenged Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), accusing him of spreading fear with his 2025 prophecies.

Pastor Adeboye had delivered a series of prophetic messages during the RCCG’s Crossover Service in Shimawa, Ogun State. Among his declarations, he described 2025 as a landmark year, warning that many Nigerians might struggle to endure the challenges it would bring.

He stated, “The year 2025 will be a landmark year, a year nobody will ever forget. The day someone has been waiting for will arrive this year. The wind that started blowing last year will continue to blow, but stronger. Earthly helpers will be replaced by heavenly helpers. Unfortunately, many mockers will not survive the year as some have made up their minds not to repent. However, some towns and villages will shout, ‘Victory at last.’”

In reaction, Portable dismissed the prophecies, branding them as falsehoods aimed at instilling fear rather than promoting faith. The singer expressed his disbelief in the predictions, declaring that they held no power over him or his family.

Portable’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some supporting his outspokenness, while others criticized him for disrespecting a revered religious leader.

This public disagreement adds to the long list of controversies surrounding the singer, who is known for his blunt opinions and unfiltered statements.
