Abducted CAN Chairman Of Nasarawa State Regains Freedom.

Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nasarawa state chapter, Bishop Joseph Masin, who was abducted by gunmen in Lafia has regained his freedom after spending days in the Kidnappers den.

Confirming this development was Mr Bola Longe, the Commissioner of Police (CP) in Nasarawa state to newsmen on Sunday in the state capital city Lafia.

Longe said that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the abduction and that investigation was ongoing to arrest all those involved.

The CP added that all the suspects would be charged to court for prosecution as soon as investigation was concluded.

Pastor Sam Joseph, son of the CAN Chairman also confirmed this report and told newsmen that his father regained his freedom at about 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, around Lizhi village in Nasarawa-Eggon Local Government Area of the state.

However, there were no indications that any ransom was payed for the release of the CAN Chariman.
