The results of the governorship election which was held in Edo State yesterday, September 20, is currently being announced from the Collation Centre of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Benin City.
Yesterday, voting and sorting of ballot papers were concluded and the electorates are waiting eagerly for the election result.
The major candidates contesting is the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and the incumbent Governor and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Godwin Obaseki
