Samuel Olorunwa Ajayi, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ese- Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, resigned from his position as chairman as well as being a member of the party today Friday, 10th July.
Ajayi tendered his resignation letter and revealed that he has defected to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP at the party’s secretariat.
Ajayi is a close friend of the Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, who recently defected to PDP.
Agboola Ajayi is at loggerheads with the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu and has indicated interest to run against him in October.
