Suspended EFCC boss Ibrahim Magu Requests for Bail

Ibrahim Magu, the suspended acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has written a letter to the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, asking for bail on self recognizance.

 

One of his lawyers, Oluwatosin Ojaomo, sent a letter requesting for bail to the police chief on Friday, July 10.

 

Magu has been under detention since Monday, 6th July at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) when he first appeared before the presidential panel probing him for the allegations of misconduct leveled against him by the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.
