An aircraft carrying stranded Nigerians in the United States just arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja. Channels TV reports.
The Boeing 787 Ethiopian Airlines plane landed at the airport in the capital city at about 11am, some hours after departing New York.
This is following an announcement made by the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa that the Federal Government has concluded plans and will commence the evacuation of hundreds of stranded Nigerians willing to return home from various countries.
