Nigerian music star Davido has stirred conversations with his perspective on cannabis, asserting that he does not consider it a hard drug. Speaking on The Morning Hustle podcast, the singer shared his plans to tackle drug abuse while acknowledging his personal use of cannabis.
“This year, I’m donating to the fight against drug abuse among youths,” Davido said. Addressing criticisms, he added, “Some people are saying I smoke weed, but I don’t count weed as a drug.”
Davido emphasized the increasing issue of addiction and his desire to contribute to the cause. “A lot of people are going through a lot recently. Drug addiction is becoming rampant, so I want to donate to that cause to help them quit,” he explained.
