UK-based Nigerian pastor Tobi Adegboyega has addressed allegations of facing deportation over a £1.87 million fraud scandal tied to his controversial church, SPAC Nation. The church was shut down amid claims of financial misconduct, prompting the UK government to initiate deportation proceedings against Adegboyega.

In a video shared on Instagram, the pastor dismissed the reports, reassuring his followers that the situation is under control. “The matter they are propagating now is the smallest of matters,” Adegboyega said, adding that he has endured significant challenges in the UK, which he described as “a city known for pulling people down.”

Adegboyega urged Nigerians to see his resilience as a source of pride, stating, “Every Nigerian should be proud of me for surviving every persecution.” He emphasized his confidence in overcoming the current situation, claiming he has endured more trials than many others of color living in the UK.

Reassuring his followers, he declared, “Nothing has changed, and nothing will change.”

The pastor’s remarks come amid public scrutiny over SPAC Nation’s alleged financial irregularities, including accusations of pressuring members into extreme measures to donate money. The UK’s tribunal proceedings are ongoing, as Adegboyega continues to challenge the deportation ruling.
