Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state who tested positive for the novel coronavirus on 30th June has recovered.
He announced this at a press conference on Monday, July 6, where he said that another test carried out on him returned negative today.
He said,
”I tested positive for the virus and immediately went into isolation with supervised home management. Those days in isolation were defining periods for me.”
“After some days in isolation, our team of doctors decided to take my sample and I was tested again in accordance with the treatment protocol of COVID19.”
“The result came earlier today. I tested negative.”
