President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerians that his administration’s tough policies will ultimately benefit the country despite the current hardship. Speaking at the South-West Assembly of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos on October 5, Tinubu stated that he’s focused on improving Nigerians’ lives and leaving a prosperous legacy for future generations, rather than seeking re-election ¹.
Represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, Tinubu acknowledged that his decisions have drawn criticism but emphasized their necessity. He expressed gratitude for the support shown to his administration and reaffirmed his commitment to implementing long-overdue reforms.
The event was attended by prominent APC leaders, including governors, lawmakers, and former officials. While some Nigerians have expressed skepticism, others have voiced support for Tinubu’s vision.
